 Contracted by TSKL (Kirabati) for supply and installation of TS2000 and Motor Control units. This installation was particularily challenging due to the extremely remote geographical location. This particular antenna is a Polar Mount Antenna. A normal antenna has it’s azimuth axis fixed so that it is always perpendicular to the surface of the earth. However on a polar mount antenna the Azimuth Axis will follow the Elevation axis. This is handled by the TS2000’s Twist and Tilt capabilities, but does require a thorough understanding of the mechanical interaction of the antenna axis’.
This antenna provided primarily phone services the Republic of Kiribati.
